Blog 4: Favorite music band/ artist / kind of music

Hello, today I will tell you about my favorite artist. The truth is that I had to think a bit, but I will definitely talk about Dua Lipa.

She was born in London, she is a singer, songwriter and model. about her songs belong to the pop genre.

Last year she was one of the first pop singers to release an album in the midst of the pandemic, this album is future nostalgia. This album is characterized by using more aspects of the 80s and 90s, Dua lipa said that it would be a musical time machine.

My favorite songs are "levitating" "don't start now" and "break my heart".


Although this album was not without criticism, since several people found similar parts of the songs of Dua with songs like "Blame It On The Boogie" by the jackson 5, "let's get physical" by Olivia Newton-John and several other songs. 

But still, the album managed to be very popular, as Dua Lipa managed to win the award for best pop vocal album at the Grammy Awards this year, plus she won the British album of the year at the Brit Awards.
